Assignment #1: Emailed Autobiographical Summary with Attachment

COMMENTS: Our first class is a chance to get acquainted with each other. Be ready to interview an unknown classmate (your impromptu research subject) and think about this: When exploring someone, is it better to ask them open questions (e.g., "What are your favorite kinds of foods?") or closed questions (e.g., "Do you own a car?"). How do our choices about investigation strategies frame the subjects we explore?

NOTE: To be placed on the HPA's listserver, go to: <https://lists.lsit.ucsb.edu/listinfo/health>.

NOTE: For information and links regarding local paid/unpaid internships and shadowing in the medical fields, go to: < http://www.dougbradley.net/courses/writ
