NOTE: Just prior to and after our 40th reunion, a number of archival documents were made available by classmates. (Thank you Steve Gabriel and Carol Hefley Johnson!) These include a number of programs from sports and awards events and will soon be added to our listing below.
This page features HBHS documents that encompass the Class of 1976's four-year experience from 1972–1976. We are looking for new documents, especially those related to sports, arts, theater, clubs and special events. If you have documents you'd like to contribute, please contact Doug Bradley or Lynn Maxwell, or any other member of the reunion committee. Photos are not included here; however, many have been posted to the Facebook reunion website.
You can send us original hardcopy documents. We will scan, then return, the originals to you. Better yet, scan the document(s) yourself and email us the file(s). If you scan a document yourself, especially if the original is in black and white, please use a .pdf file format and select the "grayscale" option, rather than color, to minimize file size. For halftoned documents, please also select the "descreen" feature when scanning. If you mail us a hardcopy document, please send it in a protective mailing envelope to protect it from damage during shipment. We will do the same when returning it to you. Thanks!

Class of 1976 Graduation

Official program handed out to attendees of the HBHS 1976 graduation ceremony at 7:00 p.m. on June 10, 1976. It provides a listing of all 1976 HBHS graduates and honorees, as well as the ceremony program itself.
Baccalaureate Program (2.6 Mb)
Held 2:00 p.m. on June 6, 1976 at Golden West College Amphitheater. The baccalaureate ceremony was shared simultaneously by Huntington Beach, Westminster, and Edison High School students.
Parent Letter (1.3 Mb)
Letter sent to parents of HBHS graduating seniors. Page 2 describes events and details related to graduation, including dates, times, and locations of the senior breakfast, rehearsal, Disneyland trip, etc.
HBHS Tower Awards 
The Tower Awards were (and remain) an annual tradition at HBHS that recognize students for academic achievment. The programs below include names of student nominees, by departments; finalists and winners were not announced until the ceremony itself.
